Frequently asked questions

  • What can I expect from a consultation?
Each consultation lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes, from setup to the end of the visit. During the consultation, we will perform a full health examination of your pet, address any concerns, administer treatments, and dispense any necessary medications. We will also review your pet's housing and care, as proper husbandry and diet are essential for good nutrition and overall health.

  • How can I book my appointment?
You may book our appointment through our online booking system.
If you have more than 3 animals that need to be seen in a same appointment and can't find an appointment slot for all of them, please email us or contact us via our social media messaging and we will do our best to accommodate all of your pets in a single booking.
We are currently still sorting out our phone system.

  • What types of pets do you treat?
We treat rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and mice.
At this stage, we do not treat dogs, cats, ferrets, reptiles, birds, fish.

  • How should I prepare my pet for the vet visit?
There isn’t much preparation needed before your vet visit.
Just ensure there is a safe, quiet space where we can work comfortably to examine your pet.

  • What is included in the consultation fee?
Our standard consultation fee of $220 per pet includes a thorough health examination of your pet, complimentary nail clips, discussing any diagnostics, treatment or referral plans that is required for your pet.
Any additional vaccines, medications, treatments or services are not included in this consultation fee.
There will be a surcharge for all Public Holiday consultations.

  • What types of treatments/services do you offer?
We offer a range of medical treatments, including medication dispensing, mild gut stasis management that do not require hospitalisation, incisor trimmings, external laboratory testing such as blood and urine sampling.
We also provide end-of-life care (euthanasias) and also after-care services (cremations).
Laboratory testing is not available on Sundays and Public Holidays as the laboratory is closed.

We do not offer boarding services.

  • What if my pet needs surgery or additional care that cannot be provided at home?
We do not offer imaging diagnostics (like X-rays or ultrasounds) or in-home hospitalisation care. If your pet needs more advanced care or surgery, we will refer you to a brick-and-mortar clinic or recommend one at the time of your appointment booking.

  • Do you offer desexing or other surgeries?
If your pet requires a medical procedure involving planned sedation or general anaesthesia, we will refer you to a veterinary clinic where Dr. Supanee performs surgeries and procedures. Please note that all bookings must be pre-arranged.

  • Is my appointment time fixed?
You will receive an email confirmation once your online booking is confirmed. However, if there are any changes to the schedule, we will inform you directly.
We seek your patience should we encounter any delays due to traffic conditions or an extended prior appointment. Should there be a delay, we will contact you by phone.
