Hello! I am Dr. Supanee, affectionately known as Dr. Sups — pronounced like “Soups” (the same kind that you drink!). I am the founder of Doctor Sups Veterinary, and the inspiration behind this mobile service is deeply personal.

As a child, I have come to understand that the smallest creatures often take up the biggest space in our hearts, and pocket pets are a perfect example of this. My much-loved rabbits, along with my experiences caring for them, were the motivation behind my decision to start Doctor Sups Veterinary. Caring for them revealed to me the profound impact of compassionate veterinary care and inspired me to extend that same care to other pocket pets beyond my own.

Born and raised in sunny Singapore, I moved to Australia to pursue my veterinary degree, with educational experiences in Adelaide and Perth before eventually settling in Melbourne. Since graduating as a veterinarian in 2016, I have dedicated my career to pocket pet medicine. To further develop my skills, I attained my Memberships in Unusual Pets Medicine and Surgery. Over the past decade, I have been fortunate to work with pocket pets across general practice, shelter medicine and referral hospitals. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge as a veterinary nursing educator at Melbourne Polytechnic, helping to train the next generation of veterinary nurses.
 

My beloved late rabbits, LittleBun and SushiBun, will always hold a special place in my heart and continue to inspire the way I practise veterinary medicine. At home, I'm kept on my toes by my mischievous bunny duo, TotoBun and TeddyBun, who remind me every day why compassionate, low-stress veterinary care matters. I also share my home with three cheeky but lovable cats—PotatoBun, PorkyBun and EggyBun—who make sure life outside of work is never quiet!

 

I believe that great veterinary care goes beyond treating illness. It also means helping owners understand their pets, empowering them with knowledge and supporting them to make informed decisions throughout every stage of their pets' lives. My approach focuses on minimising stress while providing warm, compassionate care in the comfort of your own home, so every visit is as calm and reassuring as possible for both you and your little loved ones.
